Long bio: M. Fawkes writes stories about people who build explanations to survive things that cannot be explained. Their work combines literary horror, weird fiction, and hard-boiled investigation, with a particular interest in corrupted memory, impossible architecture, and morally compromised narrators. Monuments is their debut novella.
